This past week was a nice mix of activity and downtime – after a full weekend and seeing Mikayla, Aunt Jen and Uncle Dave off back to Indiana (and Daddy off on an overnight business trip) on Sunday afternoon, I decided to take Monday “off” and keep us at home for a day to recuperate. Jim had the 3rd off as a sort of pre-holiday, and the day was gorgeous so we decided to try out Sun Valley Beach.  It’s a huge pool in Powder Springs, GA, but that doesn’t quite do it justice.  It’s half way between a pool and a water park, plus sandy beaches surrounding the swimming areas, and the place was a big hit with the entire crew (including Collin who we took along as well).
