Grammie and Papa Wright were going to be in Acworth, GA on Monday the 22nd, and being so close it seemed like a great opportunity for them to join us for dinner.  All the more so, as the upcoming Wednesday was Grammie Wright’s birthday and we could celebrate in person with her just a little bit early. Wednesday, December 30 – Tennesse Aquarium Trip

Wednesday, December 30th was one of our two big-adventure days for the week Jim took off from work – we were headed to the Tennessee Aquarium!  Jim and I were actually very interested to check it out, but we were most excited to see if/how much the girls would enjoy it.  Grammie joined us on our trek and we drove the 1.5 hours up to Chattanooga to meet up with Grammie & Papa Wright and begin our exploration. The Thursday following Victoria’s 1st birthday was pretty laid back – we mostly stayed home, played and cleaned up for the arrival of Jim’s parents the following day.  We did however find a gigantic dead moth on the deck, which Scarlett was fascinated with.  It was fairly brittle though, so as soon as she started squishing the wings it fell apart (ew.): Read the rest of this entry »
